    G'day GJ

Good on yer for following my lead ..... coz we've all got images that are just waiting for an excuse to be shown

Yes- I've seen and photographed these sculptures - quite amazingly tall, well done artwork out 'a million miles from anywhere'
I like your camera angle where it emphasises her dark colour against the bright clouds behind

    Phil

Lovely work John. Beautiful curves. I just had to give it a shadows boost to see what she was wearing. Shouldn't have bothered really, very little clothing to see

Whim Creek Pub W.A. August 2007,
Back when I was doing maintenance work for a company called Atlas Rail. I would spend 3 weeks 2 or 3 times a year at either Rio Tinto (Cape Lambert, Dampier), or BHP (Port Hedland).

Geez John - you haven't changed much in 13 years! It's a great outback shot. There's only one thing disturbing me - why no socks?

          Yes Phil, early May.
Found it quite by accident on a drive from a friends place at Katoomba to the Jenolan caves.

Their rello's are still swimming the rivers up north, and their fangs are just as deadly.

I was very lucky, right time right place. I was on a fourby bus tour and managed to get a shot before the sand was churned up by all those feet.

Corrie and weatherboard - perfect building materials that last a lifetime, together with a place to tether the nag so you can have a frothie! Great image.

Typical country pub John, well taken. "Central Hotel" is the 6th most popular name for a pub in Australia and there's about 44 of them. HERE is a few pub facts. https://publocation.com.au/facts

It's easy to see where the millions of dollars go when the company / gov't is talking 'billions' in order to get something afloat
Pic wise- good to see something closeup rather than from the viewing platform maybe 1km away

Lucky to get a tour John. I had a tour by my SIL who is a supervisor at Paraburdoo. Fantastic scenery and incredible to see it all working. My daughter drove one of the Haulpaks.
