G'day all
Our local memorial club hosted yet another 'tribute' band, this one for "A night in Memphis"
In an auditorium of about 450 people, we were about 1/2-way back and crowded in a bit. Normally I like to be a bit closer, but ticket sales being what they were ... !
Using my trusty Panny FZ-300 @ ISO-1600, much of the portrait images were shot from 480mm to 625mm FFequiv and at F2,8 mostly. The wide images were in the 100-200mm range @ 1600 and F2,8 to F4,0 area
All shown here are full frame, no cropping needed with this wonderful lens
1)- setting the scene - "Johnny Cash" + "Roy Orbison" + Elvis" on stage

2)-

3)- "Elvis"

4)-

5)- "Roy"

6)-

7)- Support

8)- Drums

9)- Guitar

10)- Keyboard

Overall the backing band were excellent, the guitar fella above was superb, keyboard wasn't far behind. Of the 'big-three' the fella doing Roy Orbison was the best of the main event
As always, feedback welcome
Phil
