        Thanks Alan and Isac, It has it's own little reef developing. Shot was taken about twelve months or so ago so not eligible for the "seen better days" comp.

              What an interesting find Greg ..... not something I would ever be likely to come across. The mere thought of 20m leaves me gasping for breath. Thanks for sharing

                Often see discarded shells over the sand. This one caught me eye because of the new growth on the outside. The barnacles had been there for a while though.

                    Pretty common on large shells. All sorts of invertebrates attach them selves. I'll find a few more examples.
