    I'm assuming it is a combined listening and theft deterrent device. Does it operate in areas where the Internet is not present or does it require constant connectivity?

      Cheap to run, just needs a tin of dog food and a twice daily walk. No batteries are required..

    Well spotted Mark. Pooches can offer great protection on most occasions and act as a good deterent as well.
