Greg I know you have these in snaps in regards to your first 2 If I could take photos near this good I would be over the moon I simply love them. The calm feeling of the area gave me a sense of peace you did a great job love them both thank youAll Experts at anything were once beginners

Thanks for your thoughts Sandy.
The reason I put them in under snaps is because I had a similar shot in Landscapes and at the same time several others were posting there as well. Posts tend to get 'buried' rather quickly in active topics and I thought it better to put them here given the follow up story I've included with these shots.
I'm a bit surprised that you are the only one to make a comment. Thanks again for taking the trouble.

I like #2 of these - I think the wattle framing the top makes it for me. The old photographs are certainly interesting and knowing what is still down there and accessible. I too can't imagine diving in that, especially entering things like the powder magazine.
