    Very interesting flower well captured Greg.

    I know you posted this in "Snapshots", and I don't want to offer any C&C, just and observation.

    You used a flash I think. Flash shots can look a bit flat and often with bright highlights.

    Have you considered available light? And perhaps playing around with lighting. If you are working indoors, as this one looks like you are, slow shutter speeds should not be a problem, as you would use a tripod.

      Thanks Charles, The shot was taken in the garden and the flower was buried in the foliage. Yes I used a flash but didn't necessarily set out to make a special shot of it. Just one of my wanderings around the backyard with camera in hand. Your CC is welcomed where ever I put my posts.
