Chess set, funky!

Hubby's parents sold their property down at Cawarral (near Rockhampton) and they had a garage sale and also hocked alot of stuff. This Chess set Jason's dad picked up at a garage sale prob 10 years ago or something like that ..can't recall what he said doh ! Anyway I googled to see if it were called anything in particular as I didn't know you could get such a unique looking Chess set. Seems there are many a quirky set out there lol.
This one is called Raynard the Fox Chess Set. I took these at night so lots of shine and colour variation.

I own one of these chess sets. Mine is over 40 years old. It was made in England and mine was made of crushed stone and resin, so the pieces are pretty heavy.

Wow, really. This set has a few chips from the pieces and I think it's made of resin although the pieces are a little heavy. I'm not into Chess at all but found these fascinating.
