  • Seen better days

The remnants of a fence near the park ...... taken with D7100 .... now taking most shots in Aperture mode (instead of Program that I used on the fz200) just seems to 'be better'

    Certainly seen better days.

I tend to use shutter priority and then adjust ISO until I get the aperture I want. This way I've more control over movement.

Nice shot Barb,I use Aperture priority 90% of the time as I like to control the DOF.
      C+C,EDITS OK
I shoot a Canon 90D with a few bits of glass.

I remember when I first started with a dslr reading that if you want to control DOF, aperture is your priority and if you want to control movement, shutter is your priority. Having fun with the D7100 Barb? I do like mine.

Becoming more confident with the camera Gabby ..... even posted without the 'experimenting with .... ' in todays post

Will use shutter priority as needed, but for most of the time I think I will stick with aperture

The fz200 worked really well in program mode (where I adjusted aperture or shutter as needed), but as there is a bigger range of aperture to play with on the d7100 ..... logic says to play there
