    Wonderful capture Terry. It tells a story that goes way back. Faststone Image Viewer would fix the shadows in a flash! (only if you're using MS Windows)

      I am not a people photographer, so I won't comment on the flash, but I think you have captured the soul of the man very well.
      There are some miles in that face. Well done.
