Moon over Auckland Point

Always wanted a shot of the moonrise over Auckland Point Wharf. So inspired by all the moon shots lately I headed down there on Sunday night but the clouds obscured it totally until it got a fair way up. Would have preferred to get it earlier when the sky wasn't quite as dark, but will keep trying periodically.

Terrific sky, as you say an earlier shot would be awesome, but this still really gives this image some zing!
