Just for fun I took some macro images of some of my old measuring gear from when I was working as a fitter & turner.

#4 Nothing but the best for GJ. I bought this vernier when I was a first year apprentice back in 1968. The lens was pointing down slightly and not perpendicular to the vernier that is why the focus had dropped off at the bottom of the image.

#5 Barrel and thimble of a 50-75 micrometer. This is a 30 shot stacked image processed with PS6. I used stacking feature of my CamRanger to take 30 images.
