      Converted. Pretty much only shoot RAW unless I'm on vacation.

      I was running out of battery at a wedding shoot once so to see if I could get it to last a bit longer, I switched to B&W and JPG. the last 50 or so shots came out really well.

    Quite different to our locale as well. Viva la difference. Can almost feel the softness of the first image. Nice eclectic collection,

      Thanks! It was a little later in the morning but there was just enough high cloud cover to take the edge off the sunlight.

    Nice series. I like the idea of the lonesome pine but for me it gets a bit lost in the busy background. The light and detail on the seedheads in #1 and the grass stalks in #4 make them the stand-outs for me.
