Not native to Tas, Gaz. (Poetic)

Discovered in 1984 growing in the Wollemi National Park in the Blue Mountains after thinking it was extinct. Only 150 million year old fossils of the plant existed in collections prior to that.

The Tasmanian Arboretum has plants and trees from all over the world.. some survive.. some dont. The Wollemi Pines are doing well!
