    Ptilonorhynchus violaceus - (on a fence rail - trust me )

    My first photo of one of these. Now to get the male.

    Satin Bowerbird on a log - don't often see this. Never see them down my way, on a log or anything else (like a fence rail.)

      A beautiful photo of the female. I think in their own way they are more attractive than the males.

      I must need some new glasses, because at first I looked and looked at the left hand end of the log. My brain insisted the blurry vegetation in the left corner was in the background , so it looked like there were big erratic holes in the log. It sure was confusing. I gave my brain a shake and the whole world and log fell into place, and the blurry vegetation was in the front

      Seeing stereo photos in 3D without glasses has never been a problem for me.

            It may be a fence rail now, but if it was still part of the tree it would now be a log or something ..... nice shot Alan
