A grave place on a stormy day....

Very nice Mark, although you have some halos in and around the trees. I like the colours and the path leading into the image.

HI Alan + Mark ..... but surely a halo of some sort is applicable to a graveyard+ church

Good one Phil, but I think it might depend on who lies there.

I like it too Mark. A lot of folks are dying to get into that place. Not sure what caused the halos that wigz mentioned. I reckon a bit of drama added to the clouds would give it a stronger look - but that just me.

Isac's Tip of the Month. There's a great way to remove that halo in PS (other editors as well), using the Clone Stamp Tool set to Darken and 50% Opacity and a soft brush. Sample the darker sky next to the brighter halo area and brush over the light areas. The only parts affected are the brighter areas and the dark parts of the tree is unchanged.

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

Thanks Both. Yes the halo is due to Lightroom sky filter not sseing the sky between the branches. It happens quite a lot, between bird wing feathers etc. But I was not displeased with the effect. The sky does come in various shades.

Thanks for the tip Isac, i will try and action that in the future...
