  • Woodland Scenes at Milford Millponds Nature Preserve

A morning hike through the woods at Milford Millponds Nature Preserve. Ended up with more intimate details of the woods as this woodland can be quite chaotic.

I particularly like #2 and #6 David. It looks like the kind of place where it's difficult to separate larger subjects from the mass of vegetation.

This woodland is particularly chaotic with a lot of undergrowth.

Love them all David, although #3 and #4 look a bit cluttered for me. Beautiful colours.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

#4 would probably have been better if I had a proper macro lens or at least my 70-300mm with me since it can focus much closer and isolate that clump of moss.

That's why I love my Tammy 18-400. Great for closeups at full 400mm. It can focus at 100mm fully zoomed.

    Colour and texture are captivating,.enjoyed.
Better a full bottle in front of me
