Better a full bottle in front of me

An excellent series Hans. #2 is my favourite here. I like the composition, perspective and the way the lighthouse is isolated against the interesting sky.

Thanks Alan. It is one of my wife's favorites as well. lucky that day. We didn't have a lot of clear weather.

All beatiful shots Hans. #2 and #5 look to be crops from the same image. Do you have the whole lot in one image? I reckon the wide shot would be awesome too.

The birds give it away . #5 is the full image. The pp is a bit rough and ready as it was done on the notebook. It was also taken from a bucking boat which had me unsuccessfully try and take a telephoto shot of an Albatross. I couldn't keep it in the frame.

Thanks Hans. It's a great photo with lots of colours and textures. Well done. It's a good bucking shot

That is in Otago. I have been to that Lighthouse. When I was a kid a family friend was a locum Lighthouse keeper so he would man sites while the permanent staff went on holiday, usually a month at a time but sometimes up to 3 months. We used to often go to places he was manning and stay for a few days or so.
