    G'day all

The old adage .. 'vote with your feet' ... so often comes into play with me as a photographer, as I move around to see the best location for an image, &/or to exclude a bit of dross from an image via a small move to another spot

These two sunset images show what I mean

    1)- Emily Harbour at sundown

    exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/400s x F6,3; ISO-125; lens at 4x zoom / 115mm FFequiv

    2)-

    exif- Panny FZ-2500; 1/800s x F4,2; ISO-125; lens at 6x zoom / 145mm FFequiv

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

Beautiful sky in #1 Phil. A bit too much black in #2 for my taste. Nice work.

It goes to show, you don't have to move too far to get a totally different image.

Nice shots. Prefer the first one for those skies.
        Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

I personally like the 1st overall as it has a little more to offer in looking at it.
You get land and sea in that one over the 2nd really being land.
So to me on that it makes a better and slightly more interesting shot.
          Well done mate.

            Thanks fellas
ps- the black dot in the waters of #1 is a swimmer / snorkeller looking for artifacts from one of many ships sunken on the reef off shore. Apparently it's a common site to locals that a visitor gets out there and tries their luck
