Very hard to tell the difference between the two John, with reference to the "milky" effect. 1 second and 2 seconds shutter speeds look identical. Lovely images though with a good DOF. Not a fan of "Milkies" but these are OK to me - perhaps 1/2 second shutter would be more to my liking BUT that's just me. Others may have different opinions. Stationary objects look nice and sharp and the colours and light look very good.

My memory's not as sharp as it used to be.

Thanks for the feedback Isac. No need for the fancy filters today it was quite shaded with all the ferns and tall timber. Looking back I probably should have pushed the ISO to achieve a shutter speed of 1/250 to "stop" the water.

Looks good at 1/2 second John. Although not a lot of difference between them all. I played with the last one (below).
Any reason for posting smaller images? This one downloaded at 815 x 543 @ 115kb.

Try keeping at the same dimensions and reduce the size to around 275kb and see if that works any better. Try some in the Test page.

    G'day GJ

Yeah - any of the three will do for me ... and then a poster print for the cafe wall please

I like the 1/2 second shot the best John. I think to go on a cafe wall it would need a few lifts in the shadows and vibrance to really highlight the beautiful colours in the foliage and foreground water.
raising the dehaze helps to put back some contrast.

Looks good, I wonder how much I was paid for the image.

Very nice John. They all look good to me. I like a bit of blur in the water and find around 1/2 to 1 second gives results to my taste.
