Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

I like that type of shot Hans. Lots to see and enjoy and it engages me totally. Technically it just needs a straighten to get those bride verticals right. Other tan that the colours are great and i like the framing too. Well done and TFS. (make a good black and white?)

I only meant the verticals Hans. It looks like the lines originally are not perfectly horizontal, so that's OK.

And it does look ok in B&W. Reminds me of when I was shooting in Ilfachrome. Lot of detail to explore here.

How did you do the B&W conversion?

The lightness channel in Lab mode. Increased the contrast a little with curves. The original was very flat as it was an overcast day. I added the sun and clouds.

When you swap a sky, try and get one that matches the tones of the rest of the image. I reckon another overcast sky with some good cloud and varying light would have been a better choice. This is only IMHO, others may put forward other ideas. It's easier to show you what I mean, if you send the original hi-res to me (RAW or JPG). You've got a good method for the B&W. I do think though that the mid tones are too strong and it removes the contrast and affects the shadows. Just what I see Hans
