Late light

Aternoon shadows on lovely green grass.

This composit put up a big struggle. I tried to flip the sky but regardless it would flip both images. Think I should have flipped it before loading it into windows for composit. Wasted a few hours whilst in voluntairy isolation.

I think it's a great image Hans. What did you want to do with the sky? I would assume that what you meant by flipping it, that you wanted the light coming from the left to match the shadows. This is a fix in Luminar-4 in 8 seconds.. How did you do the composite?

Must have a look at that program. I had both pictures open and the original sky was bright nothing so it selected easily. Then selected inverse and moved it over picture taking in Norfolk island. When I selected the layer either at thatt time or before I moved it It flipped both images.

I'm not following your workflow Hans. When you say you had 2 images open, do you mean as separate documents? I believe you may have flipped the image and should have only flipped the layer. To flip a Layer, Press CTRL+T (to enter Transform mode) the inside the selection, Right-Click and select "Flip Horizontally).
Post some screen snaps and include the layers panel. I'm puzzled as to why you would use "Inverse"?
Just a hint (for better views in the layers panel). With your "Layers" panel selected, click the hamburger icon to the right and select "Panel Options...".
In the Layers Panel Options box, click the largest Thumbnail Size and Layer Bounds in Thumbnail Contents. Leave all other 3 checked - Click OK.
That will show layers as their own icon in the Layers panel and not as they appear on the entire image. Better for us oldies!
