    The detail is precious a nd semi precious stone laid int marble. Thousands of workeres worked for years to create this edifice.
    Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

    It’s amazing the work that went in those old buildings. I’m constantly amazed when viewing structures hundreds of years old and try to visualise how they were able to get such accuracy and detail back when the technology was so basic compared to what we see these days. Pity the light wasn’t on the facade for you but I can see what the attraction was.

      Well spotted Hans. In OZ it would take 768 years to build that. With 38 hours per week and all that (including union down time and OH&S). But it is sad that you chopped off the top of the guldasta!

        Thank you for finding that. Are you sure it is the right one? I was impressed with the stone inlay. It was taken at 155mm so I have no excuse other than I didn't like it being in the picture.
