  • Fabulous Flinders Ranges

We have just completed a trip through NSW, Victoria and SA with the prime aim of a taking a good look at the Flinders Ranges which part of the arid heart of SA bordering on the desert country.

Second time I have been there this year but first time I have taken my wife and daughter. I wanted them to see this spectacular country.

Many emu families to be seen.

    These pics all around Arkaroola.

This is Rawnsley's Bluff near Wilpena.

Lovely place for taking photos Barkly and these show the colour and vastness of the ranges. I've never seen emu chicks so thanks for sharing. Images show a lot of dust particles which is a bit distracting.

It is a beautiful part of AUS.

Agree with Isac, a lot of the dust has found it's way onto the sensor (as is it's want).

I just got mine cleaned again recently - was spending too much time cloning the spots out of skies

I've been very lucky to have had a Camera Shop still trading in the main street of Moruya and the owner did it for me.

Until 2 weeks ago that is, when he closed up shop

            I don't know what I'll do now

There are kits available if you are brave enough to do it yourself.

I used to use Fletchers in Civic, but that is long gone.

Try Camera House or Teds. Maybe get in touch with a local camera club too.

            Cheers

Saw a dad and some emu chicks recently but didn't get as good a photo as you. Some lovely shots of this stunning area, particularly like #2 - only ever seen it in photographs, but it's on my bucket list. Just keep thinking there's something missing from the back of your Prado in #4.

None cloned out from this one - meant I had cloned them out of some of the other pics. Not got any appearing currently after a clean at Port August - but need a professional job.
