I thought this looked similar to images I've seen of California, but it's just down the road....

I spent my first few nights camped under these Date Palms some 35 years ago when I first arrived in the district.

You'd certainly never pick it for inland Aus. I imagine the ocean is just beyond the palms or maybe the Nile if you crop out the trees on the right. Nice silhouette.
