I like the third one the best because of the good colour, cleaner background and it's not facing away from us. They all look nice and sharp.

All would be improved with lifting shadows a bit to better show the eye, if you are inclined to play around in software.

Thank you, I have had a bit of a play with them :-)

I agree with Alan about fixing the shadows to show more colour and detail. #3 could also do with a crop to 3:2 ratio. Also (this is just my own take on it), I'd flip it horizontally to have it looking left to right, like us humans do

I just fired myself from cleaning my house.
I don't like my attitude and I caught myself drinking on the job.

After a bit of a play however I'm sure I'll play again with them when I get my Photoshop book and learn more :-)

Much better. Try using Adobe Camera Raw for basic adjustments. Copy the layer you want to adjust and and in the Layers Panel, right click and select "Convert to Smart Object". This allows you to change any adjustments you make at a later time. You can take your Photoshop document layer into Adobe Camera Raw (Ctrl + Shift + A) and in BASIC options, click on AUTO to see the changes. Use the sliders to make any changes like slide the SHADOWS to the right and you'll see the difference. When done click OK and the layer will go back into Photoshop. Double click on the words Camera Raw Filter in the layers panel and the layer will reopen in ACR so you can make more adjustments.

PS If you need any help with PS, please ask.
