    Cardinal and Sparrow at Prime Hook NWR

    Went out this morning for some more wildlife photography. Managed to catch a Female Northern Cardinal sitting in a tree before it flew off. Also got a White-throated Sparrow looking for food.

    I have never seen the White Throated Sparrow. What a little beauty it is. And well caught on the Northern Cardinal, usually pretty skittish birds from my very limited experience in Hawaii...

      Thanks. I find the females tend to be slightly less skittish than the males.
