  • Female Blue Grosbeak

First outing with the Fujifilm 150-600mm and my first photo outing in over 10 weeks. The Blue Grosbeaks were the star of the morning. There were several females in the tree and one male with its blue plumage. Unfortunately, he was impossible to get a photo of.

Wonderful photos David. The camera and lens combo along with the photographer's skill set are working beautifully. You have that bird popping off the page with beautiful colours and FG/BG separation at treat to see. TFS.

Looks like you have it under control David.

Took a few minutes to get used to the tighter FOV compared to my old Canon 100-400 II that I used on the 7D Mark II.

Very nice David, excellent detail and framing and a nice clean background.

I definitely look forward to taking it out to the wetland wildlife refuges around here.
