          Excellent shots Isac You appear to be very close -are these from the conservation centre.

          I think #3 is the pick of these with its wonderful detail. #1 appears to be a little soft or smeared - from noise reduction perhaps.

            Thanks Alan. Very close indeed. Taken at Kaarakin. I revisited #1. I think it's a bit better. Also tighter crop.

              nice series here. last is a clear winner from me. even the back image has merit as it shows off the tail very well.
              I feel the first one has the bird overpowered by the big knot thingy.

                Cheers Stephen. They are lovely birds and super smart. I really didn't know what to do about the bulkiness of the tree so I left it, but I see your point. Maybe just a crop to remove the bulk of it?

              Crops are subjective imho. Maybe a head and shoulders would work.
