  • Some Cormorants

    It was a beautiful morning at the park today and managed to get a few birds. Here are the cormorants.

    4. Little Black Cormorant on a post. I rarely keep shots where the bird is facing the camera and this probably doesn't work at this small size but I rather like it.

    Great series. All nicely exposed and super sharp. They always look so scruffy when drying out and the look in #4 is priceless

      Thanks. I was a bit concerned that it wouldn't be noticeable in the small size image.

    Very nice work!
    Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

    good series here.
    I like the natural vignette around the first little pied cormy.
    wonder if a little shadow lift selectively on the eye beak of first wouldnt lift that to another level.
