Some of my shots from Tygum Park this morning.

All with Nikon D800 and Nikkor 500mm PF f/5.6

1. Brown Honeyeater


2. Tawny Grassbird. I thought it was on a stick until I started to process it.


3. Crested Pigeon

Good selection and presented well Alan. Good framing in #1 and I think I know that song it's singing. I love the colours on the crested pigeon. Their red eyes are so striking.

Thanks Isac. Brown Honeyeaters are very small, very active and very noisy.

They are very small and I've only got a couple of shots of them. They fly about in the large reeds at the lake so they stay partially hidden most of the time.

good work. think you could add a bit of light to the crested pigeon if you wanted.

You could use my Dodge & Burn action:
https://www.isacimages.com/Photoshop-Actions.html It comes included in the Luminosity Masks action.
Run the action to create the adjustment layers then make a selection of the bird and brush over the dark parts
