Good set Paul, and I also think #1 is the pick - it's facing the camera, is a better pose, and good background.
The two bright areas in the background in #2 are a bit distracting.
Although a back view of #3, it works as the turn of the head shows us the eye. The natural perch is a plus over #1.
The blackbird looks really good but has lost his feet. It could do with a bit more space all around.
Good detail and colour in them all.

I agree with all above. Great colours and I like the 3 different angles to get a good idea of the birds colours and patterns. I think removing some of the distractions in the last would enhance it as well as a wider crop. Tricks for when you don't get the feet, is to cover the area with something appropriate, This is what I mean.

Great shots. The natural environment in the third one edges it out for me.Fujifilm X-T5, XF16-80 f/4, XF70-300 f/4-5.6, XF23 f/2, XF35 f/2, XF150-600 f/5.6-8, and a random assortment of 35mm film cameras.

good detailed series.
I agree with all the comments already posted.
the thing sticking in to lhs of frame on the blackbird really grabbed my eye, but
isac has already addressed that, and it lifts the image.
