I have never seen a Sparrow in my garden and I have lived here for 21 years .... I live on the edge of a wood though so I get quite a variety.

There's a lot of tits there mate, sure you weren't a scriptwriter for Benny Hill.
I'm pretty sure I've seen #2 in one of the local parks, maybe an escaped pet.

thanks for this. have seen goldfinches around a bit, sydney and around the lowlands. seen lots and lots around canberra though, mostly whilst sitting waiting for planes to come in.

the only tits we get here are at the beaches in summer
