    Another from the Lake

    I think this is a Grebe,another first at my Lake.

    He was over the far side so a bit of cropping needed.

    You're right Kevin, it's an Australasian Grebe. Very small water bird and you've captured it in a very relaxing pose. Nice framing on this one.

    Beautiful little birds and nicely framed here. I find they are usually quite shy and tend to keep their distance.
