  • Coming in for a landing

        Thanks Gentlemen. Judging by the deposits on the light fitting it is a popular vantage point with the local bird population.

          You have to marvel at the extreme skill involved in controlling those wings given there was probably some breeze. Just the right angle of approach at just the right speed so you can come to a halt in just the right 3D spot.
          Thanks for capturing. I watch other bird approach their landing places on branches at high speed and they go low to get a gravity assist in landing.

            Thanks Hans, I could watch Pelicans all day, along with swans they are such graceful birds.
