I believe that this is a juvenile Chestnut Teal as he is lacking the distinctive metallic green head. He's certainly got the chest action going.

Reminds me of a duck someone gave us many years ago. We called it Donald untill it stated laying eggs. Looked a bit like him.

Not convinced that it is a female Isac. I spent a long time searching for images of juvenile males, but came up empty. The only info that I could garnish was that the female is very similar to the Grey Teal. I could very well be wrong, it's happened once before
