  • Chestnut Teal

    I believe that this is a juvenile Chestnut Teal as he is lacking the distinctive metallic green head. He's certainly got the chest action going.

    Reminds me of a duck someone gave us many years ago. We called it Donald untill it stated laying eggs. Looked a bit like him.

      Great shot. It's a female chestnut teal. Only the males have the green head. Just needs a shadows lift or D&B. Nice work and great that you are enjoying your camera.
