  • Birds in Flight around the lake.

    We get a few different varieties birds at the lake, so here's a few in flight. Some IQ is average but I get what I can.

    #1 - Great White Egret showing the White Faced Heron how to fly out of a tree.

    A nice variety of pics,BIF are not easy but #4 is awesome,I`ve never been close to catching these little buggers in flight,well done.

    I shoot a Canon 90D with a few bits of glass.

      Thanks Kevin. Those swallows are very fast. There were quite a few buzzing around so I got lots of shots. Only about half a dozen keepers though.

    nice to get the swallon in the frame.
    black winged stilt looks to have the best IQ. others appear well exposed etc. think they showing effects of what is likely decent crops

      Nice variety of birds there Isac. I have to agree with Stephen's comments, but I would be happy if I could manage a shot of a swallow half as good as yours. We get quite a few swallows in the park swooping on insects, I've never been able to capture anything but a blur.

          I was lucky with the swallow John. There were a few of them buzzing around a baby on a post trying to give it some food.
