  • Birds at the Lake

All looking nice and green at the lake and the birds are plentiful. Late October rains means extended high water levels keeping our feathered friends around for much longer this coming summer. Here's a few.

Thanks for looking Hans. I reckon the Wood Ducks are just gorgeous looking ducks. They always seem as though they are prim and proper and always on their best behaviour

Thank you Kevin, appreciated. The Woodies are my faves too.

Great set of images there Isac. I've been waiting for the rain to clear so that I can get down to the local lake and get some more practice with the 150-600.

Rain? whaty's that? 40 degrees here yesterday, windy and bush fires. Today 28, no wind and hopefully no bush fires. It seems the 150-600 is a great lens and sitting on a 7Dii is the making of fine images. So off to the lake with you!

Appreciated Stephen. We're pretty blessed to have this in our suburban backyard. We're lucky to be living in the foothills of the city.
