    we could see 2 wedgetailed eagles feeding on a kangaroo carcass so tried the usually futile get way closer game.
    I took a pic or 2 and moved closer not heading straight at them, finally for whatever reason, I found myself as close as I needed to be. the 2nd eagle was driven off by magpies and ravens but this one continued to feed, it kept looking my way and then back to feeding. maybe the divebombing birds kept them from worrying too much about the guy approaching and right out in the open
