So I say I just have to sit it out and I hope that by the time the next one comes about I might have mended better.
Though saying this I knew I was going to miss out on some birds and wildlife.
And I decided to go to a local waterwaClick image for larger version

This Australian Spotted Crake is a bird that has taken a while to get a shot that I am happy with posting.
I then found that there is another one there so its good to know they are doing well.

Great Egret to get a full sized shot you lose so much detail in them.

Fantastic water patterns in #1 The bird looks as if it has been put out by the disturbance.
Better a full bottle in front of me
    than a full frontal lobotomy.

Nice work Arthur. #1 and #2 just need a little contrast. Other than that well done.

Its knowing when and where to stop and I have gone too far on some and not enough on other.
So its how I want them in the end and here and there what I have home to what is here has changed.
I actually showed the wife this and she even seen how there is a difference.
So I'm not sure if I have to make them darker then post might try that next time.
And thank you both for your comments.

lovely water in the grebe pic, light looks a tad flat to me so some curve adjustment or contrast would help this .

not overly fond of the central placement of the great egret. probably needed less room behind the head and more in front of him.
          nice details though

Thanks for the comments and for everyone info on the last shot that was the full shot no cropping at all.
So for it being centered is just how it had to be. I know the rule of 3rds. but its hard to get with these skinny necked buggers.
On the others it comes down to editting and I know what I think is okay and I know I go lightly on them.
As I have been told totally the opposite thing when I have gone the other way.
So I go where I feel safe.
But I done these other 2 again.
