  • Need an ID for this bird please.

    Very small bird about 90mm long, flitting around in the grass around the lake. Only a quick snap so IQ is lacking. I've never seen these before.

      Perhaps a Yellow-rumped Thornbill. Can't quite see if it has a yellow rump.

        Definitely looks like a Yellow Rumped thornbill. (90% sure)

            Thanks Gentlemen for you expertise! It's now in my ID book of local flora and fauna. I know the IQ is not good but They came and went so quickly - no time for fine tuning. I have never seen these here before so I will have to keep a look out and hope I get more sightings. Cheers guys.
