  • Came across some Galahs today -

behaving like politicians squabbling and shouting at each other

    G'day all

There was a group of a dozen or so - others coming and some going over the 5 minutes I was sitting & watching

    1) Hey you lot - see wot I can do - I can stop in mid air before the mud reaches me

    exif - Panny FZ2500; 1/2500s x F5,0; 20x zoom [500mm film camera equiv]; ISO-800

    2) Lookout below my brakes don't work real good

    exif - Panny FZ2500; 1/2500s x F4,5; 20x zoom [500mm film camera equiv]; ISO-800

    As always, feedback welcome
    Phil

I like #1 Phil just a shame about the wing tip being cut off.
The pose/shape in #2 is great but I find the half shadow across the face off-putting.

Nice action Phil but I agree with Toddy on both points. #2 also looks a bit soft but I this isn't necessarily bad as it does give a sense of motion.

Like the movement in the wing in #2
Hard to get it right when they are at speed.

Well captured Phil. Agree with others but still a couple of keepers. Light looked a bit harsh, never great for shots like this but they've turned out pretty well.
