  • Australasian Darter

I went to this park yesterday to check out spots for some family shots I am doing this afternoon. Saw this darter sitting on a nicely positioned log, so put on the long lens and took a few shots.

They say nobody is perfect wigz, but I'm sure this could be used as a benchmark. Do you have any way of removing the poop?

Not really a problem wigz, just that I thought it is a little bit distracting. I always get asked at Kaarakin if I could get rid of the poop from the perches when I photograph the Black Cockatoos, so I guess I notice it more than others would. The darter is so damn good that sitting on a nice clean log may be better. It's only my own personal view so all good.

Ok, thanks. I'd be more concerned if it was on a deck or railing, but I'll have a crack at it. There's a lot of it though

You don't need to spend a lot of time on it wigz, it was only an idea.
