Boobook Owl

I walked outside earlier tonight and there was this Boobook sitting in the pergola.

I've seen owls flying around at my place, but never come near getting a photo of one. Great job Doug.

not seen a boobook around here in ages, the trade off though is that I seen plenty of powerful owls........
