    plenty of details but the late arvo light has put a strong cast on the shot, not necessarily a bad thing I guess. still a nice shot

      Thanks Stephen. I have mixed feelings about the colour. It was literally the last rays of the setting sun, and although I normally like the light from the setting sun, I find it a bit much here. I might try to to adjust the colour balance.

        worth a colour balance adjustment I think. cos I also think it makes this guy a tad yellow.

            Thanks for the feedback. I had a crack at fixing the colour balance and it now looks to be close to the correct colour for the bird.
