    A very productive perch you have there Alan.

    Slightly soft perhaps but I can see you were battling poor light.

    These glorious pink and grey galahs cop a lot of bad press but I think they are one of our most beautiful birds.

      Thanks Mick. It is proving to be a popular piece of wood.

      I ran a slight Gaussian Blur over the image to give it a softer/glowing look - maybe too much..

      Another without the Blur. Yes, sorry, the green things are still there, but I have subsequently trimmed them back

        Ah, I'm with you now.

        Personal preference of course but I like to see sharp eyes, beak and feet for birds. Yes, I'm nitpicky.

          But yes, I was struggling with the light and shooting through a window, so I resorted to the old adage, 'If you can't hide it, make it a feature'

          Agree, they are a beautiful combination of colours, resiliance and ratbaggery ..
