Thank you Ironwood, Loose Canon, Mark L and P Plates. I just sat there and watched this feeding process from about 20 metres away - it went on for about 20 minutes or more. The bub sat so patiently, letting out a squawk every now and then just to let mum know "I'm over here!". I reckon bub ate the equivilent of 3 roast dinners! I wish I had been a bit closer but you take what you can get. These were taken with the Bigma 150-500.
I suppose I could have used a Willie Stamp but the flamingo was all I had - for now. I guess I'll make one for next time.

Thanks Ironwood. It's the first time I've ever made a stamp from a photo, so I'm rather pleased. Just something else now to occupy my time - lots of animal stamps for the grandies. I do heaps of arty-farty things in Photoshop that keep them amused and the occasional print and frame for them to display on there very cluttered walls.
