Magpie vs Kite

Hi
I think this is a Whistling Kite. It wasn't close enough to get decent shots, so the crops are a bit extreme, hence this treatment.

Great action series Alan. I do believe that is a juvenile WB Sea Eagle. Big chunky beak in shot 1 and same sort of underbody colouring as the ones I see here, not to mention the size of it compared to the maggie
. Nice set.

Skidlid - my bird expert mate assures me it's a Whistling Kite. (It's not as a big as a Sea Eagle.)
Glenda, yes he was being dive bombed. The Magpie gave up fairly quickly
