  • Small Honeyeater

Brown Honeyeater (Lichmera indistincta), I think. It has a rather loud call for such a small bird and is very active.

Couldn't quite get a clear shot and he didn't stay for long.

The light on him is lovely.
Ordinarily I would like the spindly leaves infront, but I do like the way they mimic the greenish wing parts.

Lovely detailed photos. I don't think the foreground leaves distract as it's like we are there looking through them.

          Lovely shots.
Very difficult to capture as they don't sit still for long.
