This peli caught me by surprise when he came around the corner right in front of me flying low. Used to seeing them more up than down...lol.

          Thank you
The water doesn't look that blue on my screen Ian. That really was the colour of the water. And at not having LR
Thank you P Plates. I just caught him out of the corner of my eye and automatically looked up as you do...lol
Thanks Jo. Much as we need the rain I wish it would go away as I'm starting to suffer from camera withdrawals...lol

Jesse doesn't have lightroom. Tried to help but couldn't upload lightroom onto a vista platform.
Just shows that this nature-nut gets quality shots SOOC.

I thought there was a slight "Blue tint" in the early shot, also had my other half look at it as well because I am colour blind, but after my stuff up the other week, the first time I used the Mk3, I am more aware of how the colour temperature / white balance can affect the presentation of an image.

I sympathise with Jesse because to all intents and purposes I didn't realise what I had done, and it was only when a couple of people mentioned they could see a Blueish cast on the image that I began looking to see what I had done wrong. I had the colour temperature set at around 3200, because I had been playing around indoors. Its an easy mistake to make, depending of course what you had been shooting previously.

Looking at the screen shot that Ian has forwarded there is a +21 variation on colour temperature, which could have made the difference.

Okie dokies now you're completely confusing this technically challenged person...lol.
Ian's take on the peli makes the water look quite grey on my screen.
What Jo meant about LR is that I have XP and the latest versions are not compatible. Only compatible with and up to LR3.6
Oh, and please, what does SOOC mean? Bear with me until I get the meaning of all the abbreviations.

Well, I nearly did get just water...lol. The purple touch is different. Poor peli having to cope with all the water colour changes.
Thanks Jo. Now I know what SOOC means I will add it to my mental diary. I feel quite chuffed that I'm getting good shots SOOC.
Drats. No sign of it yet Ian and it's a long weekend.
