A few birds from the weekend

Went to Tumut for the weekend. Camped by the river so I didn't have to go far for a few common birds.

interesting shot in the last. not sure if this is the best presentation of this one.

Thanks Stephen. I wasn't sure about the last one either - it was taken in landscape format so I have no more height to play with - I could make it square I guess?

square is about the best with what you have.

the landscape left too much dead space either end that wasnt contributing to the overall feel of the shot.
square sorts that out.

The portrait is very nice lots of detail.....Prefer the landscape stare down, lots of room, Must admit if I was a bird, I would be scared of an Ibis, very scary looking thing......

Nice pic Alan and good timing. It's good to get a few different species sharing a limb. I reckon the portrait would be better though.
I think the other shots are really good as well. Nice PP and light looks terrific.
